Gross2Net Global ("we", "our", "the app", or "the application") is a free global payroll calculator developed by Shiva Kounder. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

When you sign in using Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication), we collect:

• A unique Firebase User ID (UID) associated with your account

2.2 Salary and Payroll Data

All salary figures and payroll inputs you enter into the calculator are processed locally on your device only. This financial data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

The following may be collected automatically by our third-party service providers:

• Device type, model, and operating system version
• Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
• IP address and approximate location based on IP
• App usage patterns and interaction data
• Crash reports and performance data
• App version and language settings

3. Third Party Services

3.1 Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for:

• Firebase Authentication — manages your Google Sign-In securely
• Firebase Analytics — tracks app usage, session data, and performance metrics
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports to help us improve stability

3.2 Google AdMob

On first launch, users in the EEA will be presented with a consent dialog for personalized advertising. You may choose non-personalized ads at any time by adjusting your device advertising settings.

6. CalOPPA — California Users

In accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we agree to the following:

• Users can update or delete their account information by contacting us directly

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law:

• Firebase Authentication data — retained until you delete your account
• Analytics data — retained for up to 14 months per Google's default settings
• AdMob data — retained per Google's own retention policies

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information including:

• Secure Firebase Authentication managed by Google
• No storage of financial or salary data on our servers
