1. Introduction

Quote2Cash ("we", "our", "the app", or "the application") is a free business document generation app developed by Shiva Kounder that allows users to create professional quotes, invoices, and receipts for their businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

By downloading, installing, or using Quote2Cash, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the app immediately.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you sign in using Google Sign-In (via Firebase Authentication), we collect:

• Your full name
• Your Google email address
• Your Google profile picture
• A unique Firebase User ID (UID) associated with your account

2.2 Business Document Data

All business information you enter into Quote2Cash — including client names, business names, amounts, invoice numbers, product or service descriptions, and receipt details — is stored locally on your device only. This data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers.

2.3 In-App Purchase Data

When you make an in-app purchase (IAP) to unlock premium features, the transaction is processed entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not collect, store, or process your payment card information directly. Google Play handles all payment data securely in accordance with their own privacy policy.

2.4 Information Collected Automatically

The following may be collected automatically by our third-party service providers:

• Device type, model, and operating system version
• Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
• IP address and approximate location based on IP
• App usage patterns and interaction data
• Crash reports and performance data
• App version and language settings

3. Third Party Services

3.1 Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase for:

• Firebase Authentication — manages your Google Sign-In securely
• Firebase Analytics — tracks app usage, session data, and performance metrics
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports to help us improve app stability

3.2 Google AdMob

We display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your Advertising ID and other data to show personalized or non-personalized ads based on your preferences and location.

3.3 Google Play Billing

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Authenticate your identity via Google Sign-In
• Provide and improve app functionality including quote, invoice, and receipt generation
• Display relevant advertisements through Google AdMob
• Process and verify in-app purchases through Google Play Billing
• Monitor app performance and fix crashes
• Analyse usage patterns to improve user experience
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations

We do not:

• Sell your personal data to third parties
• Store your business documents, client data, or financial information on our servers
• Share your personal information with advertisers directly
• Use your business data for any purpose beyond local app functionality

5. GDPR — European Union Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

Legal Basis for Processing

• Contractual necessity — to provide app functionality including Google Sign-In
• Legitimate interests — to improve app performance and fix issues
• Consent — for personalized advertising via AdMob

On first launch, users in the EEA will be presented with a consent dialog for personalized advertising. You may choose non-personalized ads at any time by adjusting your device advertising settings.

6. CalOPPA — California Users

In accordance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA), we agree to the following:

• Users can visit our app anonymously where possible
• This Privacy Policy is clearly linked from the app and Play Store listing
• We will notify users of any Privacy Policy changes by updating the "Last Updated" date
• Users can update or delete their account information by contacting us directly

California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

California residents have the right to:

• Know what personal data is collected
• Know whether personal data is sold or disclosed and to whom
• Opt out of the sale of personal data
• Request deletion of personal data

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA)

Quote2Cash is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA under GDPR). Quote2Cash is a business tool intended for adult business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through our app, please contact us immediately at koundershiva12@gmail.com and we will promptly delete such information.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law:

• Firebase Authentication data — retained until you delete your account
• Business document data — stored locally on your device only; deleted when you uninstall the app or clear app data
• Analytics data — retained for up to 14 months per Google's default settings
• AdMob data — retained per Google's own retention policies
• Purchase records — retained as required by Google Play Billing policies

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information including:

• Secure Firebase Authentication managed by Google
• No storage of business documents or financial data on our servers
• All business data stored locally on your device
• Encrypted data transmission via HTTPS/SSL

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. We strongly recommend you secure your device with a PIN, password, or biometric lock to protect your locally stored business documents.

10. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own, including the United States, where Google's servers are located. These transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards including Google's Standard Contractual Clauses and compliance with GDPR requirements.

11. Consent Management

On first launch of the app, you will be presented with consent options for:

• Personalized advertising via Google AdMob
• Analytics data collection via Firebase

You can withdraw or modify your consent at any time through:

• App Settings → Privacy Preferences
• Your device advertising settings

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by:
